How to avoid graphite electrode breakage and tripping during steelmaking
1677479033
During the steelmaking process to effectively avoid graphite electrode breakage and tripping, the following measures can be taken

(1) The graphite electrode phase sequence is correct keepcounterclockwise.

(2) The scrap steel is distributed in the steel furnace evenly, and at the bottom of the furnace should be placed large scrap as far as possible.

(3) Avoid non-conductive materials in scrap steel.

(4) The graphite electrode column is parallel. and the graphite electrode column is aligned with the furnace's top hole. To avoid the accumulation of residual steel slag causing the graphite electrode to break, The furnace top hole wall should be cleaned frequently.

(5) Keep the electric furnace tilting stable and keep the electric furnace tilting system in good condition.

(6) At the graphite electrode connection and graphite electrode socket, need to avoid clamping the graphite electrode holder.

(7) Choose high-strength and high-precision nipples.

(8) When the graphite electrodes are connected, the torque applied should be appropriate.

(9) Before and during the graphite electrode connection, it is important to prevent the graphite electrode socket thread and graphite electrode nipple thread from mechanical damage.

(10) To affect the screw connection we need to prevent steel slag or abnormal objects from being embedded in the graphite electrode socket and nipple.
