1. The graphite crucible should be stored in a ventilated and dry environment so as not to be affected by moisture.

2. The graphite crucible should be handled carefully during transportation. It is strictly forbidden to drop it, and do not roll it, so as not to damage the protective layer on the surface of the crucible.

3. Before use, the graphite crucible should be baked in advance, and the baking temperature should be raised slowly from low to high in electric resistance furnaces. The preheating temperature should be gradually raised to above 500. During the preheating process, the crucible should be turned continuously to allow it to be heated evenly, by doing this the moisture in the crucible will be removed.

4. The graphite crucible furnace should be matched with the crucible, and the upper, lower, and surrounding spaces should meet the requirements, and the furnace cover should not be pressed on the crucible body.

5. When using, avoid spraying the flame directly on the graphite crucible body, and spray it on the base of the graphite crucible.

6. When adding material, it should be added slowly, preferably broken material, and the large material should not be filled too much or too tightly, so as not to swell and crack the crucible.

7. The crucible tongs used for loading and unloading should conform to the shape of the graphite crucible, so as not to pinch the crucible.

8. The crucible can only be used continuously so that its high performance can be better utilized.

9. The number of additives to be added during the smelting process should be reasonable. Otherwise excessive use will reduce the service life of the crucible.

10. When using the crucible, turn the crucible periodically to make it evenly heated and prolong its use.

11. When removing slag and sticky coke on the inner and outer walls of the graphite crucible, tap lightly in case of any damage to the graphite crucible.
